Fun Fact

I was found in a charity shop in Helsinki by my current owner. My playful design and nod to Madeira reminded her of her visit to the sunny luscious island, so she bought it to combat the dark and cold Finnish winter.

Statement

I am a symbol of fair trading. I was made by a local crafter on an island called Madeira, and sold to some tourist...then they donated me to a charity shop. I'm not just a simple bag, but am embedded with hundreds of years of cultural knowledge and skills. Therefore, my value should be given fairly.
